We’re at that incredible stage in our lives where we’re able to do some really amazing things where chances of meeting new people and trying new things, and having those we love most surrounding us right there. When it comes to improving the safety of cosmetics, it’s not all up to the industry and regulators. There are several ways you can take part in the effort to end animal testing and encourage the transition to more effective, reliable alternatives:

Share our video and website. One of the most important steps we can all take to speed up the transition to safer, more humane science is spreading awareness and information.
Know where your products come from. It can be difficult to navigate grocery and pharmacy aisles when searching for products that were not tested on animals. You may find listings of cruelty-free companies online.
Search for the words “not tested on animals” on a product’s label, and check company websites. If you’re unsure, contact the company directly to ask.
Banning cosmetics animal testing in America is a necessary first step, but it doesn’t stop companies from outsourcing their animal testing to other countries and then importing their newly animal-tested products or ingredients back into India. That’s why we also needs a sales ban — to make it illegal for companies to import or sell cosmetics and ingredients that have been newly animal tested anywhere in the world.
